KL Rahul's Biography
One of the few Indian cricketers who have scored a century in all three formats of cricket, KL Rahul’s is seen as the future of Indian cricket. With a fine technique at his disposal, KL Rahul is ideally suited to represent in all three formats of the game.
Having made his international debut on 26th December 2014, KL Rahul has come a long way. The 28-year old cricketer, sadly, has lost his place in the Test side but is currently looked as a vital cog in both the other formats.
After displaying a below-par performance with the bat in 2019 World Cup, KL Rahul redeemed himself, having performed exceptionally in One-Day Internationals and T20 series that followed thereafter. KL Rahul's Cricket Career
Impressive performance in the Under-19 World Cup meant KL Rahul was included in Karnataka’s team. He made his first-class debut in the 2010-11 season.
He couldn’t put up a great show and was dropped in the next season. He made a stellar comeback in the 2012-13 season, scoring 400 runs in five matches at an average of 50.
International Career: KL Rahul made his debut against Australia on the Boxing Day in the Test Series in 2014. He fared poorly, scoring 3 and 1 in the first and second innings respectively.
KL Rahul made his one-day International debut against Zimbabwe on 11th June 2016. He compiled a heartfelt century in his debut innings and thereby became the first Indian player to do so in the history of Indian Cricket.

Owing to his stellar performance in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, KL Rahul was purchased by Royal Challengers Bangalore as a wicket-keeper batsman in the 2013 edition of the Indian Premier League. The following season he has moved to Sunrisers Hyderabad for INR 1 crore.
Ahead of the 2016 edition of the Indian Premier League, KL Rahul was once again brought back to RCB. He ended the season as the third-highest run-getter of the tournament, scoring 397 runs in 14 matches.
Kings Eleven Punjab purchased his services in the 2018 edition for 11 Crores. He started the tournament on a high, scoring the fastest half-century in the history of the tournament. He took just 14 balls to reach the feat. In the 2019 edition, he struck his maiden IPL century off just 64 balls against Mumbai Indians.

KL Rahul's Controversies
The major controversy in KL Rahul’s life came in 2019 when he along with Hardik Pandya made sexist remarks in Karan Johar’s talk show “Koffee with Karan”. The cricketers made some misogynistic comments in talking about their relationships and crushes.
The BCCI Ombudsman DK Jain directed the two cricketers to donate a sum of INR 1 lakh each to widows of 10 constables in paramilitary forces who lost their lives on duty. They were also asked to pay INR 10 lakh each in the fund created by the Cricket Association for promotion of game for the blind.
BCCI suspended both the cricketers and was sent home before the ODI series against Australia. The fact that the two players were sent back from overseas tours based on disciplinary action was the second time in the 82 years history of Indian cricket.
The suspension a later removed and Rahul re-joined the squad for India A matches.
Rahul scored 50 and 47 in the two-match T20I series against Australia, the first international series since the chat-show controversy.
